KDC Placement Levels
Dancers are placed in levels according to both age and experience. The ages listed to the right are guidelines to give a general idea of what to expect in each class. If you are new to our studio or unsure of where your dancer should be placed, please contact us to discuss appropriate placement.

LEVEL COLORS – Dancer Age Guidelines
Color levels are for school-year class placement only.
Pink – Ages 3-4
Sky Blue – Ages 4-5
Lavender – Age 5-6
Red – Ages 7-8
Turquoise – Ages 8-9
Royal – Ages 9-10
Bravo Company – Ages 11+ (Teacher Approval Required)
Rising Star Company – Ages 11+ (Teacher Approval Required)
Ovation Company – Ages 12+ (Audition Required)
Encore Company – Ages 14+ (Audition Required)

Auditions are only required for Ovation and Encore Company classes. Bravo and Rising Star Company classes require teacher approval for registration, please contact us to coordinate placement and teacher approval. All other classes are open for online registration.
Tuition fees for school-year classes are billed monthly.
